Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), a premier urban public school in central Virginia, serves diverse populations. No surprise, VCU engaged JMI to expand their existing supplier diversity program. VCU wanted to increase the number of minority-owned and women-owned businesses in their supplier database. JMI engaged more than 800 diverse suppliers, conducted supplier diversity lunch ‘n learn meetings, assisted with communications plans across VCU departments, and worked to increase opportunities for diverse suppliers.
